ISSUE:
When users are trying to access Production URL using IE8 or IE7, getting an error message " There is a problem with this website's security certificate" (Click on below image to view clearly )
CAUSE:
Although the secure server certificate is encrypting data correctly, IE8 or IE7 cannot verify the domain name. That is because there is not a SSL certificate for your particular domain name.
Fix:
We can permanently disable the warning error by following the below settings at Internet browser.
Internet Explorer> Tools menu> Select Internet Options> Advanced >
Scroll down to the bottom (under Security) and disable/uncheck "Warn about certificate address mismatch"

Internal Server Error When Trying To Open Configurator In IE8 or IE7
ISSUE:

When attempting to use Internet Explorer Version 8 or 7 from Order Management Sales Order form, they are unable to open Configurator. The following error is dispalying in place of configurator page:
Below errors found in the java console:
java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: https://servername:443/configurator
AND
oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException: '=' missing in attribute.
This issue does not happen from the Test Button in Configurator Developer also Issue does not occur from IE6
What is the Cause ?
The issue is caused by the Internet browser settings.
What to do to fix ?
In the user machine, please do the below actions
In Internet Explorer 8 or 7:
Click on 'Tools' and drop down to 'Internet Options',
Click on the 'Security' tab,
Click on the 'Internet' icon,
Click on 'Custom Level',
Scroll down to the header, "Miscellaneous",
Under "Allow Scripting of Microsoft Web Browser Control",
Click the radio button to "Enable"
It should possibly fix the issue and now you can retest the issue.
